N&P Strengthens Strategic Alliances at Minera Las Bambas Networking Cocktail

LIMA, PERU – On April 23, N&P participated in the exclusive Networking Cocktail organized by Minera Las Bambas and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Peru.

More than just a social event, the cocktail was an open invitation to shared growth. Las Bambas opened its doors to member companies of the Canadian Chamber, encouraging them to join its value chain as strategic suppliers. The message was clear: to face the technical and operational challenges of one of the world’s most important copper mines, top-tier allies are required.

The scale of Las Bambas is impressive in its own right. Operating in the Apurímac Region at altitudes exceeding 4,600 m.a.s.l., this unit is a vital engine for our economy. With reserves of 4.6 million tonnes of copper and resources exceeding 9.4 million, the mine is currently undergoing an exciting chapter.

Following the approval of the 4th Modification of the Environmental Impact Study (MEIA), 2024 marks the start of operations at the Chalcobamba deposit. Alongside Ferrobamba and Sulfobamba, the goal is ambitious: an annual production capacity of 400 Kt, supported by efficient and human-centered management.

N&P: The Strategic Ally on the Ground

At N&P, we understand that projects of this magnitude require comprehensive support that goes beyond the office. Therefore, we reaffirm our capacity to work hand-in-hand with the country’s major mining companies, focusing on three pillars that guarantee the viability of any operation:

Property Management: We handle the legal and physical land titling with technical precision, providing the necessary technical security to operate without setbacks.

Forestry Management: We implement sustainable solutions that not only comply with environmental regulations but also actively protect local ecosystems.

Social Management: We believe in preventive dialogue. We strengthen the social license to operate and promote harmonious coexistence, driving productive projects that allow communities to be self-sustaining in the long term.

The event was an incredible moment to exchange ideas with decision makers and key figures in the sector in a relaxed yet productive atmosphere. For the entire N&P team, this space was fundamental to strengthening our brand and renewing our commitment to Peru’s mining development, always with the solid backing of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
