The scale of Las Bambas is impressive in its own right. Operating in the Apur\u00edmac Region at altitudes exceeding 4,600 m.a.s.l., this unit is a vital engine for our economy. With reserves of 4.6 million tonnes of copper and resources exceeding 9.4 million, the mine is currently undergoing an exciting chapter. <\/p>\n
Following the approval of the 4th Modification of the Environmental Impact Study (MEIA), 2024 marks the start of operations at the Chalcobamba deposit. Alongside Ferrobamba and Sulfobamba, the goal is ambitious: an annual production capacity of 400 Kt, supported by efficient and human-centered management. <\/p>\n
